BOOktacular at Hanson Park!
It’s time for Preschool Storytime!
Storytime is back! Begins Thursday, September 1st at 10:30.
Each Thursday at 10:30 we offer a storytime for young children. We read books, sing songs, and do finger plays. We also offer a craft or activity after each program. Come join the fun!
Storytime follows the school calendar. If school is out for holidays or closed for inclement weather, then storytime is also cancelled.
Storytime takes a break from May through August for the Summer Reading Program.
Lego Club
LEGO Club is back!

Come build LEGO creations at the library! We meet every other Thursday from 3:30 – 5:00 pm. (Unless otherwise indicated.) Ages 5 and up are welcome. Ages 8 and under need to bring an adult helper.

Family Movie Night

A young clownfish is captured by divers when he strays too far from home. His father sets out on a journey to rescue him and makes friends along the way.
Come join us Thursday, June 16th in the library parking lot! Bring your family & friends, lawn chairs, blankets and bug spray as we watch Finding Nemo. Concessions will be available, but you are welcome to bring your own snacks as well. The movie will start at dark. Rain date will be Thursday, June 23rd.

Summer Reading Program 2022
There are OCEANS OF POSSIBILITIES at the library this summer!
Starting May 24th, we’ll have a Summer Reading Kick-Off Party in the library parking lot from 10:00 – 1:00. Come visit the Little Bitty Acres petting zoo, play games, make crafts, and have a snack! Be sure to pick up your reading logs while you’re there so you can start reading to earn great prizes.
During Summer Reading, we will have weekly take home crafts available. Plus, we will have two special programs in the auditorium in June. On Tuesday, June 14th at 2, we will have Uncharted Waters with Finer Arts. And on Tuesday, June 28th at 2, we will have Inspyral Circus with Jeremy Philo.
Teenagers will have their own program on Thursdays at 1:00 in the Meeting Room at the library. Ages 12 and up.
Adults get to play Reading Bingo. As you read, you will win prizes along the way. With every completed bingo card, you will be entered in a drawing to win a gift card!
Summer Reading runs through July 1st.
