Update on the OverDrive & Libby apps
Attention, OverDrive app users! OverDrive is discontinuing the legacy OverDrive app in early 2023 and transitioning users to the Libby app. Libby is OverDrive’s newer app for browsing and enjoying digital content from our library.
It’s time to give Libby a try! All your loans, holds, and wish list items will be waiting for you in Libby when you add your library card.
Libby also comes with new features we know you’ll love, like:
- Tags to categorize books however you’d like—you can even sync your OverDrive wish list into a tag!
- A central bookshelf for all loans and holds
- Customizable notifications for ready holds
- Compatibility with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Sonos speakers

Christmas & New Years Hours
The library will be closed Friday, December, 23rd – Monday, December 26th for Christmas. We will re-open on Tuesday, December 27th as usual.
We will also be closed on Monday, January 2nd. We will be open as usual on Tuesday, January 3rd.
Thanksgiving Hours
We will be closed for Thanksgiving from Thursday, November 24th – Sunday, November 27th. We will reopen on Monday, November 28th as usual.
While we are closed, you can:
- Return books in the drop box located outside the library.
- Renew books through the online catalog. (You will use your card number & phone number on account.)
- Check out books and more with OK Virtual Library.
- Use our free WiFi.

BOOktacular at Hanson Park!
Come enjoy our latest Story Walk at Hanson Park. Tuesday, October 4th from 6:30 – 8:30. It’ll be creepy and fun! We’ll also have Trunk or Treat with our city vehicles.
Lego Club
LEGO Club is back!

Come build LEGO creations at the library! We meet every other Thursday from 3:30 – 5:00 pm. (Unless otherwise indicated.) Ages 5 and up are welcome. Ages 8 and under need to bring an adult helper.
