Each Thursday at 10:30, we offer a storytime for young children. We read books, sing songs, and do finger plays. We also offer a craft or activity after each program. Come join us!
Each Wednesday at 10:30, we offer a sensory sensitive storytime for all ages and abilities. An inclusive storytime filled with stories, songs and movement designed with sensory needs in mind.
Storytime follows the school calendar. If school is out for holidays or closed for inclement weather, then storytime is also cancelled.
Storytime takes a break from May through August.
Did you know…if you read just one book a day with your child, you’ll reach 1,000 books in less than three years? Come in and ask us how to get started on the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program.
Is your child a reluctant reader? Do they need ‘some bunny’ to encourage them? Now, your child can practice reading to a well-behaved bunny rabbit at the library. Bunnies visit in the fall and spring every other Thursday from 4:00 – 5:00.
Come build LEGO creations at the library! We meet every other Thursday afternoon during fall and spring from 3:30 – 5:00. Ages 5 and up are welcome. Ages 8 and under need to bring an adult helper.
Love to talk about books? So do we! Come join us for a friendly discussion and discover some new books. Or maybe even rediscover an old favorite. Check the Book Club page for info about the next meeting and book.
Once a month during summer & fall, we have craft time for ages 14 and up. Come spend a relaxing evening crafting with friends and having fun!
We'll have cookies & hot cocoa, face painting, crafts, a photo backdrop, and a special guest. "IT'S CHRISTMAS!"
Every summer, the library hosts fun-filled programs with reading and activities for children, teens, and adults. The programs follow a theme and every year is new and different. Join us this summer for more reading fun!
