Policies

The Jay C. Byers Memorial Library will comply with all requirements of the Open Meeting Law and the City of Cleveland ordinances and codes applying to the library.

The minutes of all board meetings will be available to the public and all business will be conducted under jurisdiction of the Open Meeting Law. Financial statements will also be open to review.

The secretary of the Jay C. Byers Memorial Library Board of Trustees will record the minutes and ensure that a copy is on file with the library director. The agenda of the board meeting will be posted at least 48 hours prior to the meeting. The library director will provide City Hall with all necessary copies of minutes, policies, financial requests and statements as required.
