Children's Books
In his swampy home,
Solomon is looking for fun but nobody wants to play. The dragonflies
tell him to buzz off, the storks get in a flap, and the hippo is
downright huffy. But then somebody else starts making a ruckus . . . and
for once it is NOT Solomon. Could it be the perfect pal for a lonely
croc?
Grandpa Green wasn't
always a gardener. He was a farmboy and a kid with chickenpox and a
soldier and, most of all, an artist. In this captivating new picture
book, readers follow Grandpa Green's great-grandson into a garden he
created, a fantastic world where memories are handed down in the
fanciful shapes of topiary trees and imagination recreates things
forgotton.
